Brian St. John is a professional orchestral conductor based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He has been active as a conductor for 29 years. During that time he has led professional, amateur, and youth orchestras. Brian is the Baker Professor of Music and Director of Orchestras at Western Kentucky University.

These ballets are intended to be fully staged and will introduce young artists to concepts related to the performance of full-length productions. In addition to his ballets, Dr. St. John has also written many other works for orchestra, such as a humorous take on "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" for narrator, dancers, and orchestra. He has also composed two concertos for mandolin, mandola, and strings.
